More booties and some metal stamping
When I bought the material for the dresses and hat for my niece I bought 3/4 of a yard of each just to be certain that I had enough material. Well I had more than enough so I decided to go ahead and make a few more pairs of booties for her. I couldn’t resist. They’re so cute. So now she will have a pair of booties to match each dress specifically and a pair that can go for either dress.
I also made a pair to match the purple ballet shoe dress.
And as I said I was planning to I made a matching dress for my daughter. I also adjusted the pattern and made her a pair of ‘ballet’ slippers for playing dress up in. Unfortunately I made them just a bit too small so her toes are pushing against the front but she wants to wear them anyway. Good thing they’re soft. I’m out of material so I’ll have to see if I can get more on pay day and make her a bigger pair.
Monday night at about 10 I decided I was going to make her an Easter outfit with this applique
I was up until 1 working on it but I’m very happy with the way it came out and she asks me to wear her bunny shirt so it was worth it.
And here is a little sample of the stuff I’ve been stamping. I’m very happy with how it’s coming out now that I finally received my polishing kit. I have to do it by hand with this stuff so I can only do a few at a time before my fingers really get tired but it works very well. I bought this Blackening and Polishing Kit from Infinity Stamps . I’m very happy with their customer service as well. My package was lost by UPS and they filed a claim for me. UPS actually looked for it and since they couldn’t findit I was sent another one with no cost to me. It’s so hard to find good customer service these days so I would definitely buy from this company again.
